Could this be my next laptop case?
There have been many, many companies that have tried to build a laptop case that opens up to a working surface.

I wonder if anyone locally will cary it. Might be worth a look as my briefcase typically weighs 25 pounds. I think I make this bag so heavy cause it can carry so much stuff. If I had a bag that was smaller, I wouldn't be able to make my bag so heavy. Still I'd like to see how it would feel with just the bare essentials.
